My name is Richard Brethour-Bell. I began public speaking at the age of 16, traveling to congregations throughout the United States to deliver workshops and presentations. Since then, educating, inspiring, and facilitating meaningful conversations has remained the driving force of my professional life.

I graduated cum laude from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and went on to earn a Master's degree in Health Care Administration from the university's Anderson School of Management.

As a Training and Development Specialist for the State of New Mexico's New Mexico Corrections Department, I developed and delivered workshops on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), Cultural Competency, and Opioid Overdose Prevention and Narcan administration.

I currently teach in the EDGE Program at New Mexico State University, including instruction within the Certified Public Manager Program. As the former Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for InterPride, the organization that produces WorldPride events, I have facilitated workshops on Cultural Competency, Implicit Bias Awareness, and Rainbow Racism.

My work has taken me to organizations and communities around the world. I have conducted workshops at the Zurich International School on anti-bullying, as well as presentations for Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los Alamos County, and the IPS Conference on Supported Employment. I am also the author of the book In The Truth.

There is a saying: "Do what you love, and you'll never have to work another day in your life." That philosophy is the foundation of this venture. Public speaking, education, and helping others grow are not simply what I do—they are what I love.
